Grilled Bratwurst With Mesquite Pepper & Onions

 

2 Tbsp. oil

2 onions cut into strips

2 green peppers cut into strips

2 Tbsp. Texas Mesquite Rub & Grill

1 ˝ cups of beer or apple cider

Hoagie Rolls

 

  1. Grill Bratwurst over medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until done.

  2. While bratwurst in on grill, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add onions to warm oil and sauté about 5 minutes.

  4. Add green peppers and continue to sauté an additional 10 minutes.

  5. Reduce heat and add Texas Mesquite Rub & Grill and the beer/cider.

  6. Stir well and simmer 3 minutes more.

  7. Serve Bratwurst on hoagie rolls and top with onion mixture.
